Sensational story of two young men approaching adulthood in the wake of the Great Depression and the challenges of the oncoming WWII. George and Schmitty encounter an old man with an antique motorcycle which seems to invoke the spirit of its previous owner – a soldier killed in WWI. With his and George’s futures weighing in the balance, they both make life-changing decisions which they will carry with them for the remainder of their days.

The Indian edition by Barry Kienzle Children eBooks Reviews

Great quality book
Enjoyed the book. The author sure has a talent for story telling.
After purchasing a new 2016 Indian Scout, this book caught my attention one evening and after reading a s ample decided to continue and read the entire book. I highly recommend this book!
A terrific story of friendship, family and love during a very important time in our Country's history. A very well-written book that was easy and fun to read with a surprise and moving ending.
An interesting novel with "something" for everyone; Vintage motorcycle, World War II history, true friendship, and true love. The author gives us another "piece of Americana" novel like "The Crossings", but let me give a word of caution This generally "feel good" sequel, unlike his first novel, hits head-on into unexpected reality before it is finished!

Dr. Stanley E. Toompas, Optometrist
& Author of, "I'm the One the Other Isn't"
Really enjoyed this book! Like the Author's first book, this story combines history, empathetic, likable characters, and a great story. I can picture this book as a movie with the beautiful scenery out west, exciting WWII battle scenes, and romance. I am looking forward to the Author's next book.
